美東淨宗學會遵循上净下空老和尚的教導，一部經一句佛號，一門深入長時薰修。念佛是因，成佛是果。除了周末佛堂共修，學會每日有網絡早晚課共修。學會還設有往生助念堂，预防康复训练中心，周日兒童德育班。

The Pure Land Buddhist Association follows the teachings of Venerable Master Chin Kung, focusing on the deep and dedicated practice of the Infinite Life Sutra and the recitation of Amitabha’s name. It is a simple yet profound method that requires steady and persistent effort over time. Chanting Amitabha’s name is the cause, and attaining Buddhahood is the result. In addition to the weekend temple gatherings for collective practice, the association also offers daily Zoom cultivation for morning and evening group practice.

The association has also established a Pure Land recitation hall to assist the deceased, a Preventive medicine and wellness program, and a children's moral education class.
